SEAC W-22, Long Freediving Fins with New Generation Blade
- The material of the W-22 blade : from Seac's FRC ™ technology , here is a light and reactive technopolymer, which offers performance similar to the carbon fiber composite , but eliminating the well-known problem of the fragility of the material. The compound used is so elastic and has such a high shape memory that, if we observed the blade after having rolled it up on itself, once released it would still have its initial geometry, without any permanent structural deformation that could compromise its performance.
- The geometry of the W-22 fin: the blade of the SEAC W-22 fins is inclined at 22° . This angle helps the finning by following the natural inclination of the ankle. The small stabilizing fins placed at the end of the blade at the point of greatest water flow prevent the fin from sliding laterally without compromising the correct flexion of the blade's technopolymer.
- The W-22 foot pocket material : The SEAC W-22 fins feature the famous Motus series foot pocket , known for its comfort even during long sessions in the sea. The foot pocket is made of two different materials , a more rigid one on the sole to provide stability and not tire the foot, and a softer one on the upper for maximum comfort during prolonged use.
- The geometry of the W-22 foot pocket: the foot pocket is optimized for 22° angled blades and, with just a few steps, allows for easy disassembly of the blade.
